Leonard and Son, Ltd., received the following cablegram from their London principal, Mr. A. C. Rowson, dated July 11;— Butter: 170/. Market easier. APPLES IN LONDON. (Australian and X.Z. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 12. _ The Port_ Campbell's, Tamaroa's, and Ivaramea's New Zealand apples realised: — Stunners. 15/ to 20/ per case; Doughtertvs, Rokewoods, and Tisma's, 17/ to 21/. * LONDON WOOL SALES. (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 12. At the London wool sales 6625 bales were offered, of which 4856 were New Zealand.
There was a small offering of greasy Merinos and crossbreds, but more of slipes, which there was brisk Home competition at late rates. New Zealand's WFM/TBS, super half bred, 22d ; super three-quarter bred, 21d; Feilding threequarterbred, 22d to 19% d; Canterbury three-quarterbred, 2ld to 19d.
