ARE YOU INSURED?

IF NOT, WHY NOT?

"STAR'S" BIG SCHEME

FREE COVER UP TO £5000.

NEW POLICY AND WIDER

BENEFITS.

SPECIAL PROVISION FOR

MOTOR ACCIDENTS

Are you insured? If not, why not? Here is your opportunity. Become a registered reader of the " Auckland Star," and sign the coupon which appears on another page in this issue, and you will automatically qualify for benefits under the " Star's " free insurance scheme which range from £5 to £5000.

Remember that danger lurks at every intersection and every bend on the broad highway, and, for this reason, if no other, you owe your dependents an obligation to insure. The day when it could be argued that it was not within the means of everyone to take out policies and pay premiums year in and year out baa receded into the past, for the " Star's " offer is free.

It will come as pleasant news to motorists, who probably run more risks than the average user of the road, to know that provision is made for them under the new scheme. Should a registered subscriber of the " Star" or his passenger be killed, the Prudential. Insurance Company will pay £250 to his next of kin. Should a husband and wife meet with a fatal accident their dependents will receive £500. But this is not all; even minor injuries, such as fractured limbs, are covered.

. Even more generous is the insurance payable in respect to railway accidents. Relatives of readers killed in train smashes will be entitled to receive up to £4000 in cases where both husband and wife are killed, or £2000 in the case of one death. There is provision on liberal lines for accidents in lifts or on passenger steamers, with the total liability for one accident raised to £5000. For death by accident while taking part as an amateur in any game of football, hockey, ciicket, tennis or lacrosse, for death by accident by boating or bathing, or a fatal accident in one's home, generous payments will be made. Various sums are available for minor specified accidents. In the case of boating accidents the liability in respect of any one accident with more than four victims is limited to £600, not £1000 as was stated on Saturday. Procrastination is the thief of time. Read the particulars. If you are not already a registered reader of the "Auckland Star," sign the registration form, and forward it at once. It will pay you to act at once.
