MR. F. K. HUNT "BROADCASTS^

A new radio station came on the air at 10 a.m. to-day when Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., broadcasted fines from "Station P.C." The listeners-in were those persons who had failed to license their radio sets. There was a complete absence of static but listeners seemed a little pained when they heard the announcements. . .

For having unlicensed sets the following were fined: —G. Ross, £3 and costs; G. A. Burns, E. El. Clements, J. B. Ferguson, each £1 10/ and costs; Euby M. Underdown, £1 and costs.
