The Local Bodies Loans Board has approved the Auckland Transport Board development loan of £526,600, which has a term of 20 years, with a 3 per cent sinking fund, and a maximum interest rate, of 5* per cent. .

Other loans approved are; Franklin Electric Power Board, special loan, £25.000; Mount Albert Borough, Mornir.frside , reserve loan. £8500; Mount Albert Domain, £1500; Gribblchurst Park, fSSOO; Waitemata County, Waipareira: Biding loan, £15,000.
