SINGLE AND UNEMPLOYED.

Several times lately when I have gone after a job I have been asked either if I was'married or if I had any children, and because I had neither I was told that there was no chance for some time. Is it fair? Can a man live on fresh air? Can "he buy clothes with nothing! Can he expect people to keep him indefinitely , What chance has he got to save to become a married man? I am getting on towards middle life, and I have served my King and country. I ask again, is it fair? '. DISGUSTED DIGGER.
