Rain Responsible For Fatal Car Accident. LORRY SMASH IN SYDNEY. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Yesterday's terrific rain was responsible for a fatal car accident and a serious lorry smash in which four wero injured. There was also a number of mishaps in the city and suburbs. Electrical accidents, due to the cyclonic weather caused blockouts in many suburbs. Steamers on the Sydney-Melbourne route were violently battered and seriously delayed by heavy seas.
