MR. T. D. PEARCE RESIGNS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Monday. Mr T D. Pearce has tendered his relation as rector of the Southland BoW Hifh School, a position he has held for the last 25 years. It is understood it is his intention to devote his time to the compilation of a school register. The board has accepted the resignation with regret, to take effect immediately. Mr. Pearce has been granted leave on full pay. . . . Mr. T. R. Cress well, formerly principal of Wellington College, has been appointed a-tiiis-rcctor of the school.
