BOTH ARMS BROKEN.

GIRL FALLS OFF A BRIDGE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Monday. A young Maori girl, Teuta Pohe, aged nine, was playing on the railway bridge at Gardner's siding when she overbalanced and fell 40 feet into the shallow water of the Hautapu River. She protected her head with her arms as she fell, and both of her arms were fractured. She was admitted to the Taihape hospital, where she is reported to be progressing favourably.
