SCARLET FEVER PREVALENT.
ONE CASE FATAL. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE KAUWHATA, Monday. Sickness is very prevalent in the Waerenga Valley. In one week alone six cases of scarlet fever among children have been reported. The sick children were all sent to the Hamilton Hospital. In the case of Mr. G. Carter's child, aged one year and eleven months, the attack proved fatal.
