ME. ARCHER'S MAJORITY INCREASED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. In the recount of votes polled in the mayoralty contest the Rev. J. K. Archer's majority was increased by 180. The figures from 0110 of the booths, which gave him a majority of 90, were erroneously transposed. Mr. Archer's majority is now over 500. The final figures are:— J. K. Archer 15,530 W. Hay ward 15,112 Informal 3GO Majority 424
