METHOD OF MUNICIPAL VOTING.

While I liave the opportunity, I desire to protest against the stupidity of enforcing the strike-out method of voting when one lias a list of sixty-seven candidates. It is ridiculous to ask electors to strike out at least forty-two names. Surely to mark with a cioss the candidates for whom one desires to vote is the simplest, when there is such ii long list to wade through. One may only desire to vote for five candidates, and surely it is a far simpler task to make live crosses than strike out sixty-two names. FRED. BARTRAM.
