FX YING TO AUCKLAND.

FIGHTER AND A MOTH.

The Government has now decided that it shall be represented at Saturdays big air pageant of the Auckland Aero Club.

Yesterday afternoon Mr. L. W. Swan, organiser lor the pageant. received a telegram from the Hon. 1. M. W ilford, Minister of Defence. stating that he had discussed the quoytion "f Government representation with Major-General Young on his return from Auckland. The Minister stated that, weather yet' niitting, two machines would fly up from Wigram Military Aerodrome, C'liristchurch. to take ]>art- in th e pageant. The latest type «-'f fighting 'plane, the Gloustershire Grebe, which has a speed of I>o miles per hour, and a Moth are the machines selected.

Aucklamlers will therefore have an opportunity of teeing the "Oloster Grebe"' in action.
