The Police Department has agreed to pay the fare to New Zealand of Joseph \ iscoe, the New Zealander wrongfully arrested and detained as a result of the disappearance of Leslie Williams, & motorist, who was thought to have been murdered but who eventually turned up at his home in Sydney. Viscoe feels aggrieved and considers he is entitled to at least £600 compensation.
