Valuable Shipment Of Whale Oi! Sunk. STORM AT NEW YORK. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 17. A barge carrying a £50,000 cargo of whale oil from the Antarctic whaler Sir James Clark-Ross sank in the New York harbour in a storm which battered the coast from Maine to Vircinia on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
