BRITAIN AND RUBBER.

The amount of rubber coming from the British possessions dropped from 65 per cent of the world's supply in 1922 to 55 per cent in 1927. This stimulated the reclamation of used rubber to such an extent that this has become an important factor in the rubber industry and will become more so. In addition it has stimulated the founding of rubber plantations in parts of the world scientifically adapted to rubber growing snd where the finest crops should be produMd.
