BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.

MR. FRANCIS HULL

On the Auckland Stock Exchange vestenluv members were pleasantly surprised to note that at the mid-day call "The Father of the Exchange, Mr. Francis Hull, occupied a seat on the pla form.

The chaiiman. Mr. G. C. Crcaph announced to members that it was Air. Hull's eightieth birthday, and m celebration thereof he had been invited to make the call.

Mr Hull, who was preeted with a round of heartv applause, saic! that it was over 40 } cars since he had been m the habit of making the call for the Auckland Stock Exchange.
