THE C.O.D. SYSTEM.

The Cabinet has decided that the Post Office will cease collecting the money for parcels from Great Britain. This has been expected for some time. However, residents in New Zealand will still be able to purchase C.O.D. by joining the C.O.D. Importing Co., Ltd. This company is now fully incorporated under the Companies Act, with many hundreds of shareholders. The company will establish up-to-date sample rooms in Auckland, carrying a complete range of samlpes of all classes of goods. They will take over the huge system at present being operated by the Post Office. It is estimated that prices will be even cheaper than the present catalogue rates, for the simple reason that the company will deal only with large manufacturers, and pay customs duties on wholesale rates, instead of on retail rates, also acting as their own distributors.

All goods will be shipped dircct in bulk, and distributed after arrival in I Auckland. The company are sole agents for Messrs. William Barratt and Co., Ltd., of Northampton, the great English footwear manufacturers. Price lists and catalogues are now open for inspection. The Boyal Fenton Crockery Co., of Staffordshire, are also directly associated. Full price lists have just been received, and are open for inspection. The company are also sole agents throughout New Zealand for the important Indian firm of wholesale furriers, Messrs. D. D. Mehta and Co., Ltd., Kashmir, India, dealers in stone marten, pine marten, snow lynx, snow leopard, Chinese mink, Persian lamb, Himalayan fox, snow wolves, also from the company's agents in Canada, marmot musquash, Alaskan seal, sqiurrell, etc. The company also are directly associated with the Wurlitzer Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., builders oi the mightyWurlitzer organs. This compknj manufacture every class of musica< instrument. The company has estab lislied in London a buying house for tin convenience of shareholders. The mere fact of the Post Office cancelling the C.O.D. system, must bring thousands of pounds of orders to this company. Safe delivery guaranteed. Full price lists and catalogues are now open lor inspection at the company's offices, < including practically every line of goods excepting groceries. By joining tt£s company you will be able to purchase *11 lines of New Zealand manufactured goods. The chief objects of this ectmpany are to assist New Zealand and British industries, and it is deserving of your support.
