RATANA'S WHEAT CROP.
FORTY BUSHELS PER ACRE

WAXGANUI, this day.
Mr. W. T. Ratana, the Maori healer, during a visit to Wanganui to-day, stated that his wheat crops averaged 40 bushels per acre, and the people of Ratana pa were so pleased with the results that they intend to sow an additional 200 acres in grain during the coming season.
