DEALINGS WITH RUSSIA.

The British Trade delegation now visiting Russia has just been addressed by the head of the Soviet State Bank, who has appealed for the reopening of trade relations between Russia and Britain. As an inducement the Soviet Republic offers to place industrial orders with Britain to the amount of £150,000,000. About the same time the military camp at Aldershot was invaded by a number of Communists "clad . in J 1 ussian uniforms" and well supplied with Bolshevik literature, which they endeavoured to distribute among, the troops. The two incidents combined explain the whole situation clearly. Britain can earn substantial profits by trading with Russia, with the certain knowledge thit she is thus financing the propaganda of the Bolsheviks who are working assiduously to stir up sedition and revolution and .destroy everything that makes life worth living for the British people. To us the price seems rather heavy.
