RIVAL TELEGRAPH STAFFS. THAMES DOWN TO AUCKLAND. A win on the first Innings was scored by the staff of the Auckland Telegraph Office over the staff of the Thames Telegraph Office in a match played at the Domain yesterday. Scores:— Auckland. —.First innings, lf>2 (Loaar.v 44, G. Smith 39, retired, Rjrkers 3tt, Sparnon 11, Vause 11). Bowling for Thames: Gibson took three -wickets, Cleave, three, Thomson two and Isaaca one. Thames. —First innings, 44 (Gibson 15). Bowling for Auckland : McNamara took five ■wickets, Holdsworfh five. Second innings, 85 for three wickets (Cleave 42, not out, Kenny 11, not out, Christie 17, Gibson 13). HARBOUR BOARD ON TOUR. MATCH AGAINST DRURYThe Harbour Board Club eleven left yesterday on an Easter holiday tour, and played the first of their three one-day matches against the-Drury Club. The overnight rain had made the ground damp underfoot, but a most enjoyable time was spent, the tourists winning on the first innings. To-day they are playing a Fukekolie eleven, and on Monday will meet Tuakau. Details of the Drury match are : Harbour Board. —First innings, 144 (Badeley 36, L. Martin 23, A.
