Dalston and Becalmed are booked to leave for Australia on April 12. This paii", who are owned by Mr. H. W. Burch, of Hamilton, are in A. Cook's team at Te Awamutu. Boomerdav's defection from the Brighton Hurdles was the result of a knock sustained at Paeroa. The damage is in the off hind leg, which has filled a good deal. Those who have seen Supremacy in liis latest track operations at Te Awamutu favour the Chief Ruler—Lucella gelding against Gay Ballerina in the Champajrne Stakes. Komak has accompanied R. A. Edwards' team to Ellerslie. The Day Comet gelding, who was a winner at Paeroa, will race over hurdles at headquarters on Monday. The Sun, who figures in the Onslow Stakes, has yet to race. He is an Aus-tralian-bred gelding by Sun lure from Persianello, and was formerly trained at Te Bapa. Pendennis has gone to Ellerslie with Wiltshire and Whakama. Pendennis will contest the Steeples on Monday. He is 'in nice order.
