FIRST AID.
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE WORK.
DEMONSTRATION AT DOMAIN.
FIXTURE FOR SATURDAY.
Auckland Domain will represent a miniature battle ground on Saturday, and be the scene of much activity by those proficient in first aid. The occasion will be the staging of the annual competitions of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, and teams drawn from various centres of the North Island will be participating. Members of the organisation cover a wide field of activity, but save for their attendance at sports meetings, where they give invaluable service, little is seen of the efficiency of their work. Competition day, however, gives the public an opportuntiy of studying their methods and seeing the picked men of the organisa--1 ion executing their duties with reliability and dispatch. Shonld the weather be unfavourable, the demonstration will be held at the Drill Hall. Ten medical men will judge the various competitions, which are scheduled to commence at 1.30 o'clock.
