PROFESSOR ANDERSON'S METHOD.

Although Mr. Andersen instructs beginners in the art of swimming, the most forcible and tangible records can be seen by the list of his pupils' racing successes. Among these are: Miss Dorothy Farquhar, New Zealand's lady champion in 1915; Mr. L. L. Kronfeld, Miss Gladys Pidgeon, New Zealand breaststroke champion and record holder 1925, 1926, 1927, and 1928; Miss D. Grant 220 yds aad 440 yds Auckland champion; Miss Ena Stocklev, New Zealand champion and record holder for five years, also Australasian 50yds, 100 yds, and 100 metres free style records, and backstroke record. Last night Miss Stockley lowered her own 100 yds record, 65 3-ss, to 655, and the 100 metres from 74 l-os to 71 4-os, only 1 4-5s outside world's record, held by Miss Ethel Lackie. J. P. Farrell, Auckland 100 yds champion; Peggy Robertson, 100 yds intermediate girl champion, and Auckland and New Zealand record holder, 65 3-os; also 220 yds Auckland .and New Zealand champion.
