AUCKLAND PRESBYTERY.
The Auckland Presbytery met yesterday afternoon at St. "David* Hall, the Moderator, the Rev. Evan K. Harriej, presiding. A motion was adopted that the invitation of Mount Eden Church *• accepted to hold the ]i«xt meeting of the presbytery at that place. The Rev. L. H. Hunt, on behalf of t!» Life and Work Committee, reported it had been decided to hold a ministers' retreat at Huniia at the <!r>r-e of the Easter Bihie Class Conference. '1 wo call* were dealt with. Due was from the church at Whakatane !•■> the Rev. H. .i. Lilburn. of the North ( >i Ireland. Mr. Lilbuin stated that he would accept the call. The presbytery then sustained the call. .Yrran.Ecaieui* as to the induction were left to the Bav <>f Plenty Presbytery. The other call wa* tendered ny the church at I'levedon to the Rev. S. E. Franc;* <>f Knox (.'ollo.ee. Mr. Francis intimated hi> desire to accept the call, which was accordingly sustained by tin" presbytery, and toe induction was lixe.l fur March 11>.
