THE CITY OF NORWICH. In continuation of her voyage from NewYork, the A. and A. Line's chartered, steamer City of Norwich is to sail at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Portland (Victoria). TREGENNA REPORT?. According to her wireless report, the Hain Line steamer Tregenna vill reach Auckland from Makatea at daybreak to-morrow. She has a full cargo of phosphate for Auckland. New Plymouth and Wsuganui. (Henderson and Maefarlan>\ Lul.. agents.) PORT FREMANTLE LOADING. Arriving from Napier early this morning. the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor ship. Port Fremaiule, berthed at the Queen's wharf to corftinue loading fur London. She will complete at New Plymouth. Wangauui and Wellington. (Heather, Roberton, agents.) RUAHINE DUE TO-MORROW. Due at Auckland from Wellington at daybreak to-morrow, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'B steamer Ruahine will berth at the Queen's wharf to complete discharge of her general cargo from London. She will also commcnee Homeward loading here, completing at Southern ports. RONAKI COMMISSIONED. The Northern Company has commissioned the auxiliary schooner Ronaki for the West Coast trade. She is to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for Hokianga and Onehunga, and will replace the Arapawa in the OnehungaWanganui trade, while the latter vessel is laid up at Auckland for overhaul. GOLDEN CLOUD COMING. Henderson and Macfarlane. Ltd., have received advice that the O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cloud was dispatched from Los Angeles on March 1. with a full cargo of lumber, case oil and general merchandise for Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. She is due here on March 26. PAKEHA IN PORT. To the agency of A. S. Paterson and Co.. the Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha arrived from Napier this morning and hcrthed at the Quern's wharf to continue loading for Montevideo. Rio do Janeiro and London. She is to fill up at Picton and Wellington. CARGO FOR MONTREAL. The local office of the Canadian National Steamships advises tjiat the Canadian Conqueror is to leave Wellington for Auckland on Friday to complete loading general cargo for New York, Boston and Montreal. The vessel is due at Auckland on Sunday, and she Is to be dispatched for New York about Tuesday, fc'he will be the first vessel to take cargo from New Zealand to Montreal this year, the St. Lawrence having been icebound during the winter. OMANA ARRIVED. An arrival at Auckland last evening was the Lamb steamer Omana. with coal and hardwood from Sydney and Newcastle. She also brought 55 bags of Australian mail. Leaving Newcastle on Tuesday, February 26. the Omana was delayed during the first five days of the voyage by strong head winds, which at times reached gale force. The weather later moderated, easterly and north-easterly winds still prevailing. On her arrival at Auckland liist evening, the vessel anchored in the stream, and this morning berthed at the Central wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo to the agency of the Northern S.S. Co. It is hoped to dispatch her to-morrow evening for Gisborne and Napier.

Captain R. Mathoson is now in command, in place of Captain .T. Benton, while Mr. C. H. Adams is relieving Mr. B. Lee as chief officer.

MATAROA'S PASSAGE. A record passage was made by the Shaw, and Albion steamer Mataroa (Captain W. R. R. Kershaw i. which arrived at Auckland late last night with passengers, mails and cargo from London and Southampton. She sailed from London on January .10. and cleared Southampton at 2 p.m. the following day. Heavy southwest weather. with high seas, prevailed until February 4. followed by tine weather for the remainder of ilie voyage. Colon was reached on February 14. the Atlantir crossing having been made in 12 days 21 hours. Ai Balboa .1500 ions of oil fuel were taken in. and the vesjcl left there at 5.25 a.m. on February 15. From Panama to Auckland the Mataroa took 17 days 20 hours, maintaining nn average speed of 15.21 knots. Her actual steaming time from Southampton to Auckland was 30 days 17 hours 2S minutes. This morning the Mataroa berthed at the Prince's wharf, where she will discharge the local portion of h«r cargo to tbe agency of A. S. Patcrson and Co.
