(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondents HAMILTON, this day. No creditors attended a meeting which was held to-day to inquire into the financial affair? of Arthur Dawson, farmer, of Wharepapa. The schedule showed liabilities to be £1001. the assets £17 and the deficiency £954. Bankrupt's statement attributed his failure to unsuccessful farming operations. The bank held a bill of sale over the property. The Assignee: How did you live? Bankrupt: I practically starved. I had only 1/6 worth of meat in six months in my whare. The bankrupt agreed to assist in realising an old motor lorry, his only asset. The assignee said he would call a further meeting of creditors if desired.
