CONVERSION OF CAR.

TWO MEN SENTENCED. THREE MONTHS' GAOL EACH. John Warren Montgomery (20) and Percy Alexander Eyes (29) appeared at the Police Court this morning for sentence on charges of converting a motor car valued at to their own use at Kaukapakapa on January 24. Detective Sergeant Holmes explained that both men were yesterday sentenced to two years' reformative detention at the Supreme Court. Mr. McKean sentenced each accused to three months' imprisonment. On a charge of failing to comply with the terms and conditions of his release on probation, Montgomery was convicted and discharjed.
