" = No rain has fallen for weeks and dairy farmers would now welcome a change for damper conditions. The supplies to the district dairy factories have decreased during the past week, but as there is ample pasture feed a fall of rain would prevent further decreases in butterfat for a time. It is worthy of note that dairy herds running on puspalum grassed paddock- are maintaining supplies admirably and in direct contrast to those grazin? on English grasses. This fact is being amply proved by figures shown by the Te \r..ha Herd Testing Association.
