LABOURER REMANDED.
FOR FURTHER INQUIRIES. VARIETY OF CHARGES. Hector James Macdonald (28), a labourer, who was arrested last night on four charge of stealing a gold wristlet 'vatcli valued at £S, four blankets worth £2 10/, and for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order, appeared at the Police Court this morning. On lhe application of Detective Sergeant Holmes, who said that further inquiries would have to be made, accused ■ was remanded until March 1. .
