A FRADULENT COLLECTOR. THREE MONTHS' HARD LABOUR. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, Friday. In the Police Court to-day, "before 3lessrs. P. Brenan and H. Hare, J.P.'s, George Staddack Ongley pleaded guilty ■to the solicitation of alms under false pretences, and to being a rogue and a vagabond, and was sentenced to three months' hard labour.
