WIN FOR RODNEY. AUCKLAND SIDE BEATEN.' A margin of 40 runs on the first innings gave Rodney the win against an Auckland eleven, captained by E. H. Bowler, in a match played at Rodney on Thursday. There was a good attendance of spectators. Unaccustomed to a concrete pitch, the Aucklanders were all out for 144. The home side started badly, but X.
