Good progress is being made, and it is anticipated that the plant will be in operation within two months from date. The returning officer for the elections of producers' representatives to the board reported that Mr. C. Davidson, sitting member for the southern district had been returned unopposed, and that Mr. I'!. McDougall, sitting member for the northern district, had been re-elected. COMPANY AFFAIRS. j HOLDEN'S MOTORS, LTD. j I'lie board of Hold en's Motor Body ! Builders. Ltd., has declared interim divij dende of 1/ per share on ordinary shares, I and at the ra.te of S per cent per annum j on A and B preference shares, payable on March 13.
