TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE,

Bank of Australasia shares tinned in price to-day, sales beiiiji made after 'he morning call at £15 1/0, Mount Lyells also had reported sales at £2 2/0, and Farmers' Trading, ordinary issue, at 8/S. Further business was done in Pukemiro Collieries at £3 7/6, and Kaiapoi Woollen ordinary issue changed hands at 14/6. Sharland, Ltd., shares are slightly firmer, £1 0/4 being offered lor the ordinary issue, and £1 0/6 for the preference. The demand for iVs per cent War Loans free of income tax continues steady. Sales were made this morning of both 1038 and 1039 loans at £100.
