The only overseas arrival at Auckland to-day was the Marama, with passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney. To-morrow afternoon the Canadian Conqueror is due from Halifax, followed by the passenger liner lonic, from London and Southampton, late the same night. The Richardson steamer Pukeko sails for the East Coast at 2 p.m. to-day, and the Awahou nt 5 p.m. At present discharging raw Java sugar I at Chelsea, the steamer Queen Olga is to sail .•n Thursday next for Westpnrt for bunkers. Thence she is to go to Australia to load concentrates for the United Kingdom. The Superintendent of the Mercantile Marine warns mariners that the Matakawa light, near East Cape, is out. It will be relighted as soon as possible. From Apia the Union Co.'s stenmer Tofua arrived at Suva at midnight last night. She is to leave there next Thursday with passengers, mails and' cargo, for Auckland, where she is due next Monday. Taking passengers, mails and cargo from New Zealand, the Union Company's R.M.s. Niagara was dispatched early this afternoon for Suva. Honolulu and Vancouver. She is due nt Vancouver on February 1. Due nt Auckland at midnight to-morrow, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer lonic will berth at the Prince's wharf on Thursday morning to land passengers, mails and cargo frinn I,omion and Southampton. Also from Sydney, the Maunganui arrived at Wellington this morning and sails again on Friday. An expected arrival at Auckland to-morrow afternoon is the Canadian National steamer Canadian Conqueror, from Halifax. She will discharge the local portion of her cargo at the Prince's wharf and the remainder at Wellington, Lyttelfon, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff, returning thence to Auckland for final Homeward loading.
