CARNIVAL EVENING.
I The International Dance Club held a brilliant carnival at St. Sepulchre's Hall last evening, when an atmosphere of revelry held sway until midnight. A feature of the evening- was the continuous playing of two well-known orchestras, Mr. Clyde Howley's and V.? Old Pirate Shippe, underQthe baton of Mr. Healy. The hall was gaily decorated in balloons and streamers. Favours were distributed among the large number of guests, the lighting and dresses adding to the carnival effect. Mr. Jack Kigg was the organiser. Among the guests, which included visitors from the Niagara, were: Mrs. J. R. Kigg, blue chiffon, uneven hem and silver under lace frock; Mrs. Duggan. name georgette with Oriental embroidered panels; Miss lieKenzie, white net and powder blue satin sash; Miss Young, checked blue georgette; Miss Robertson, mauve chiffon; Miss Sampson, cyclamen georgette and lace; Miss Hoare, apricot lace frock; Miss Baird, flowered ninon; Miss Blue, mauve ninon; Mis 6 Hellier, ivory silk; Miss Phillips, peacock blue crepe de soie; Miss M. McKenzie, cherry and gold lace; Miss G. Robinson, powder blue crepe de chine and fawn; Miss Baxter, sea green crepe de soie, red velvet flowers: Miss Dentun, blue shot taffeta; Miss Bow, pink satin, silver lace hem; Miss Madelo, white ninon and powder blue bands; Miss Moir, rust chiffon and gold lame; Miss Owens, lame bodice, tulle frilled skirt of pink: Mrs. O'Neill, cyclamen sequinned georgette; Mrs. Dould, almond green brocade; Miss M. Jordan, black tulle; Miss T. O'Kane, cherry ninon; Miss Drafh'n, apricot ninon, pafe blue frilled panels; Miss Johnston, ombre georgette and taffeta hip bow; Miss E. Harking, printed silk rayon; Miss D. Martin, lacquer red crepe de chine; Miss Selby, delphinium blue georgette and crystal beads; Miss M. Selby, primrose rayon, mauve sash; Miss Goodman, cyclamen taffeta and silver lace; Miss Wharton, sunkist broche and diamante buckle; Miss Chalmers, rose pink velvet, diamante girdle: Miss Steadman, almond green, ecru lace; Miss Hone, Alice blue ninon; Miss Ryan, apple green crepe de chine and black; Miss Jackson, flame taffeta, gold flower; Miss E. Jackson, pink net and «*old lame bodice; Miss Hanson, jade green velvet; Miss Cotterill, pale green crepe de chine, lace hem; Miss Stevenscon, Air lorce blue frilled net and taffeta; Miss Knox white georgette and silver lace; Miss Riley, ivory ninon and silver lameMiss Lipscombe, blue georgette and taffeta; Miss Gallaher, larkspur blue and crystal trimming.
