POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. The Point Chevalier Pigeon Flying Cluh its first ra<-p of the urjfi young bird "eiirfon on Saturday from Hnntlv in dull, cloudy weathor. The Auckland Racing Pigeon Society flew its first race from Huntly. an airline distance of 52 miles. The birds were liberalc-d nt. 12 noon, and the -winning bird, Messrs Wright Bros.' b c c Surprise, homed to its loft at l.'.'fi p.m. This is the first race in which Messrs. The race next Saturday will be from Te Awamutu. NORTHERN RACING PIGEON CLUB. The Northern Racing Pigeon Club flew a race from Te Kutti. an airline distance of 105 miles. The birds were liberated by the statlonmaster at 11 a.m.. and the winning bird arrived at Mr. Coster's loft at 1.36 p.m. Mr. Coster thus won the cluh and section prize.
