The disturbances at Bombay threaten to develop into communal riots own,? to Mahummedan sympathy with tin Pathans. Fi\e more deaths occurred yesterday, making the total casualties as a result of the rioting 24 killed an! 155 injured.
Troops fired on Moslem mobs, three being killed and five seriously injured. Alarming reports of the desecration of temples are being spread. At present the Pathans and their sympathisers are taking the initiative.
