A FINE REDUCED. La?t Friday, after the a;raiii-t Mrs. Annie M. Bond, charged -with for-tune-telling, had been heard, when she was fined £5 and costs, it was learned that the case should not have been disposed of, as Mr. J. J. Sullivan had arranged with the police for an adjournment until to-day. When this was made known to the magistrate afterwards, judgment was withdrawn. To-day Mr. Sullivan entered a plea of guilty on behalf of his client, whom, he said." had undertaken not to continue telling the future.
