WHEAT CARGOES.
LONDON, January 24
Wheat.—The market is quieter after yesterday's large business, and generally 3d lower. By Koolinda, part by unnamed ship, early in February, 47/3. Parcels are mostly 6d to 9d easier, and in moderate request. Australian stocks ex Runic, Ceramic, and Delphic, 47/3; ex Urbino, bags, 47/. Liverpool futures: March delivery. 9/3V2 per cental; May, July, 9/6%. The spot trade is quiet, owing to the advance in prices required. Australian, ex ship, 49/. Flour.—Firm. Australian, ex store, 30/. Oats.—Steady. Peas and Beans.—Quiet and unchanged. Sugar—February, 9/0 3-Bd.
DAIRY PRODUCE. Amalgamated Dairies. Ltd., received the following cablegram from its London manager :-Finest. 186/; unsalted, 190/; market quiet, buyers still holding off; expect renewed activity shortly, with improved prices. Danish. 194/ f.o.b. Cheese: White, 02/; coloured, 94/; market fairly active. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Australian nuU. X.SS. Press .Association.) (Keceived 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 20., At the London wool sales 9173 bale* were offered, of which 5533 were Australian and 3520 New Zealand. There wa* an excellent selection of greasy scoured Merinos, almost exclusively suitable for th* Continent, and a good offering ot best style crosebreds.
