At the wool sale* 10,787 bales were offered, of which 7314 were Australian and 1488 New Zealand. Them was a splendid selection of super style Merinos, suitable for spinners. Yesterday's brisk market continues, with few withdrawals. All prices were well maintained. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 24. The Bradford market is slack, with spinners indifferent. Business is ouly possible on an unrcmunerative basis. Quotations are: 64's, 46d per lb; 60's, 43% d; 56's, 32!£d; oO's, 29d; 46's, 23d; 40's, 23d. CHICAGO WHEAT VALUES. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) CHICAGO, January 25. Wheat for delivery in March is quoted at Chicago at $1.26% per bushel. For May delivery the rate is f1.28%, and for July $1.30%. FROZEN MEAT. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable from their London house, dated January 24:— Frozen Meat.—The market for Aew Zealand lamb is weaker; demand limited. The market for New Zealand mutton is dull; demand runs principally on heavyweights. The market for New Zealand beef is unchanged; demand quiet.
