LOCAL PRICE ADVANCED

The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, reports that as from Monday, January 14, 1929, the prices of Anchor and Daffodil brands of butter will be advanced Id per lb. The rates will therefore be:—Wholesale 1/BV6, retail 1/10; and 1/6% to 1/8 for the respective grades. Owing to the small percentage of second grade butter being at present manufactured only one-third of the total of each order can be supplied. Cheese.—Crate lots: Export size. 9%d; medium, lOd less; and loaf, 10% d less IVi per cent. Single cheese: Export size, lOttd net; medium, lO'/fcd net; and loaf, net.

Separated Milk Powder.—Wholesale, 10/9 per dozen; and retail, 1/2 per ton.
