WIFE TERROR-STRICKEN. (Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day. The police are searching for William McDonald, aged 28, who escaped from the Long Bay gaol. In the meantime McDonald's wife is hiding in a house with all the gates and doors strongly barred and dogs set at the entrance. She is terror-stricken, fearing that he will return and carry out hie alleged threat of violence. Under the name of Billy McDonald the man is a well-known Sydney boxer.
