For the week ending December 29 15,500 tickets were issued for various stations at the Auckland railway station booking office and 2000 at the central booking office. For the Auckland district 61,300 tickets were issued during the same period. For the three weeks ending December 29 there was a total of 157,800 tickets issued in the Auckland railway district.
