FEWER BRIDES LAST YEAR
HAMILTON - , this day. There were more births, a greater number of deaths, and fewer marriages in Hamilton during the year just ended than there were in 1927. In 1928 the births totalled 592. deaths 226, and marriages 203. In 1927 the figures were: Birth's 572, deaths 215, and marriages 227. The comparative figures for December, 1027, and December, 11)28. are as follows:' 1928—Births, 51; deaths, 10; marriages, 22. 1927—Births, 60; deaths, 27; marriages, 21.
