N.Z. Sculler Fouls » Other Competitor At Balmain.' PEARCE BEATS JACKSON. SYDNEY, December 26. At the Balmain regatta to-day R. Pearce, the Australian Olympic champion, conceded G. Jackson, the New Zealand representative, twelve seconds' start over a three-quarter mile coursc. The spectators included Bill Beach and Bill Webb, two former world champions. Fearce won by two lengths, but Jackson had the misfortune to foul another competitor when in a handy position. This ruined what promised to be a splendid finish.
