INQUESTS AT WELMKGTOW

RAILWAY SHUNTER'S DEATH.

(By Telegraph—Presn Association.) ' WELLIXGTOX, this day. A verdict of accidental death, no blame being attachable to anybody, was returned in connection with the death of a shunter named McCalfaim, at Thorndon on Christmas Eve. One of the wagj?ons accidentally became derailed, and deceased was caught between it and the succeeding waggon and crushed. At the inquest on Charles Arthur Rodman, who fell into the water from the wharf while drinking with another man on the evening of Christmas, a verdict was to-day returned of "accidental death."
