INQUIRY TO PROCEED.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Asked as to his intentions in regard to the commission proposed to be set up to inquire into the cash order trading system, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Industries and Commerce, stated that he had noted from the files that the previous Government had publicly announced that it had decided to make full investigation and report as to any legislative or other action that might bo considered necessary. In view of this definite commitment, Mr. Cobbe said he felt it his duty to go on with the inquiry, and shortly after the holidays he would make a further announcement, both as to the personnel of the commission and the order of reference.
