WHARF ROBBERY.
SECOND SUSPECT ARRESTED.

On the night of December 10 two men, Frederick Joseph Kneebone and Walter Eaeton, were asaulted and robbed of their hate and valuables, on the ferry wharf by two young men. The same night detectives arrested Cyril Kevan McKenna (21) on a charge of robbing both men and using personal violence. While McKenna was waiting to be dealt with at the Police Court this morning by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., Detectives Hunt and Allan arrived in Court with, another young man named Robert Siddens in their charge. He had been arrested this morning at Victoria Park. Chief Detective Hammond said that how another suspect had been arrested on the same two charges of assault and robbery, he would not proceed with McKenna's case. Siddens was then formally charged and Mr. Hammond obtained remands in both cases until January 28.
