Passage Through House Of Lords.
LABOUR'S PROTEST VOICED.
(Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, December 19. The House of Lords, without taking a division, carried the second reading of the Imperial Wireless Bill, after Lord Parmour had voiced the protest of the Labour party against the transfer of the Government-owned beam wireless system to "commerical undertakings which really are almost bankrupt."
