GOING BACK TO MATAKOHE
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. "I've packed up and will be off tomorrow," was the cheery remark, of the late Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Ooatee, as he visited the office in Parliament Building reserved for the Leader of the Opposition. He leaves for his farm, at Matakohe, near Dargaville, and with hie family will spend a holiday on the West Coast.
"As soon as I can settle down I can have a Mttle time to myself," added Mr. Coates, remembering his strenuous days •8 Prime Minister. He still requires to maintain active interest in politics, and Will frequently visit Wellington.
